Concertgebouw

The order for the drastic renovation of the famous Concert Hall in Amsterdam was given to us based on the experience of Merkx + Girod with large-scale complex projects.

The starting point of the renovation of the Concert Hall is that all concerts must go on during the whole period - the decade - the renovation will take.

The diversity of this project makes it very interesting.
I am as well involved in the interior design, the choice of materials and color composition as in the purely architectural solutions.

In this project I have chosen VOLA, due to the convenience and the minimalistic design that forms a beautiful contrast to the rich decorated Concert Hall.
