New VOLA Round Shower 060 nominated for German Design Award 2014

The German Design Award has an excellent public image. This is also down to the reputation of its organizer, the German Design Council, which has been representing and supporting the German design industry with its expertise in all questions relating to design for 60 years now. A nomination for the German Design Award on the occasion of the anniversary of the German Design Council is especially significant – it stands for 60 years of design culture.

The VOLA Round Shower takes the special elements of the VOLA design language as its starting point to create an entirely new product. It plays with existing lines to produce a fresh and aesthetically-pleasing geometrical form.

The VOLA electronic taps and mixers can be configured according to the wishes of the building owner. This offers the possibility of conscious water consumption by allowing the flow time to be set individually for each tap. The water flow rate can also be controlled with flow regulators which again minimises water consumption keeping costs down and help preserving our natural resources. Minimum cleaning and maximum hygiene is also achieved due to the hands free operation method.

News January 2013: VOLA 060 Round Shower. Uniquely refreshing. Visibly VOLA.

This is not the first shower to be designed and manufactured by VOLA.  It is the first ever round-head shower. That’s what makes it special. It is a natural extension of the VOLA range. And it means a luxury bathroom can now be totally VOLA, combining chosen elements from the award-winning Round Series. It clearly belongs to the VOLA range. At VOLA we believe in continuity. The unique products all take their proportions from the classic Arne Jacobsen tap specially designed for VOLA more than 40 years ago. That’s why they work together so naturally. The Round Shower is effortlessly elegant.

VOLA showroom opening in Shanghai on November 8 & 9

On November 8th and 9th the grand opening of Design Republic
and the opening of our VOLA flagship showroom in Shanghai took place.

The program included architectural talks, a press conference and the grand opening night on November 9th.

VOLA wins the Danish Logistics Prize 2012

VOLA has been honoured for its efficient logistics set up, where orders are sent directly to customers all over Europe
with very short delivery times. The prize has been given to famous companies like LEGO and Danfoss – and now also to VOLA.

 

The German Design Award 2013 goes to VOLA Round Series

Both the new built-in waste bin, VOLA RS1 and the Round Series as design concept were nominated for the German Design Award 2013. The German Design Council has now announced that the built-in waste bin, VOLA RS1 receives the German Design Award 2013. The jury judging the 2013 German Design Award is made up of experts from different disciplines, from business, science and the design industry. They are all recognized doyens of their own fields.

In December 2011 VOLA RS1 won the GOOD DESIGN Award presented by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design. Founded in Chicago in 1950 with participation of designers including Ray and Charles Eames GOOD DESIGN remains the oldest and the world’s most recognized program for design excellence worldwide.

VOLA Round Series won 4 prizes at the Plus X Award

VOLA Round Series won the award “Best Product of the Year 2011” in its category.
Furthermore the VOLA Round Series won the seals of approval in Innovation, Design and Functionality.
The Plus X Award – prize for innovative Technologies, Sport and Lifestyle products – honors manufacturers for the quality advantage of the products. The jurors are more than 130 renowned, industry neutral personalities and trade journalists. Plus X Award seals of approval are presented in seven different categories – innovation, high quality, design, ease of use, functionality, ergonomics and ecology. Prerequisite for an award is: The product must be of absolutely the highest quality, have a long life cycle, be functional and its design must be leading-edge.

Nu lanserar vi ett nytt element i VOLA serien, en moduluppbyggd handduksvärmare.
Nu är det möjligt att designa sin helt individuella lösning.
Med VOLA handduksvärmare kan man välja det antal stänger som passar till funktion och inredning av badrummet.
För att få en perfekt designlösning kan, exempelvis, stängerna monteras med det avstånd som passar valda kakelplattorna på väggen.
Den nya handduksvärmaren ger full frihet och möjlighet att skapa en snygg och unik design.

Ny fristående dusch, FS3

Vår nya fristående dusch med termostat är en efterlängtad nyhet i VOLA sortimentet.
Duschen har varit under utveckling ett par år nu. Det svåra i designprocessen har varit armaturens proportioner och sammanfogningen av delarna till en självklar helhet.
Lösningen har blivit en blandare som tar en karaktäristisk och stark plats i rummet.

FS3 tillverkas i blank krom, borstad krom och i mattborstat rostfritt stål.

VOLA FS3 har modtaget GOOD DESIGN award 2009 fra The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design.

Ny armatur till fritt stående tvättställ

I mars 2009 presenterar VOLA en ny armatur till fritt stående tvättställ, FS2.
Designen på tvättställsarmaturen FS2 är en nytolkning av de klassiska geometriska former VOLA är berömd för.
En lång slank siluett som är mjuk och vacker från vilket håll man än ser den ifrån.

Tillverkas i blank krom, borstad krom och borstat rostfritt stål.

VOLA 080ST – En variant av VOLA FS3 duschen för inbyggnad i vägg.

Efter önskemål från våra kunder erbjuder vi nu en variant av den fristående duschen FS3.
Den nya duschen VOLA 080ST är för inbyggnad i vägg och kan således kombineras med en VOLA en- eller tvågreppsblandare, kan även kombineras med termostatblandare från det stora VOLA modulsystemet.
