New VOLA Round Shower 060 nominated for German Design Award 2014
The German Design Award has an excellent public image. This is also down to the reputation of its organizer, the German Design Council, which has been representing and supporting the German design industry with its expertise in all questions relating to design for 60 years now. A nomination for the German Design Award on the occasion of the anniversary of the German Design Council is especially significant – it stands for 60 years of design culture.
The VOLA Round Shower takes the special elements of the VOLA design language as its starting point to create an entirely new product. It plays with existing lines to produce a fresh and aesthetically-pleasing geometrical form.

A nomination for the German Design Award on the occasion of the anniversary of the German Design Council is especially significant – it stands for 60 years of design culture.
The VOLA electronic taps and mixers can be configured according to the wishes of the building owner. This offers the possibility of conscious water consumption by allowing the flow time to be set individually for each tap. The water flow rate can also be controlled with flow regulators which again minimises water consumption keeping costs down and help preserving our natural resources. Minimum cleaning and maximum hygiene is also achieved due to the hands free operation method.

This is not the first shower to be designed and manufactured by VOLA. It is the first ever round-head shower. That’s what makes it special. It is a natural extension of the VOLA range. VOLA has been honoured for its efficient logistics set up, where orders are sent directly to customers all over Europe
with very short delivery times. The prize has been given to famous companies like LEGO and Danfoss – and now also to VOLA.

The German Design Award 2013 goes to VOLA Round Series
Both the new built-in waste bin, VOLA RS1 and the Round Series as design concept were nominated for the German Design Award 2013. The German Design Council has now announced that the built-in waste bin, VOLA RS1 receives the German Design Award 2013. The jury judging the 2013 German Design Award is made up of experts from different disciplines, from business, science and the design industry. They are all recognized doyens of their own fields.

In December 2011 VOLA RS1 won the GOOD DESIGN Award presented by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design. Founded in Chicago in 1950 with participation of designers including Ray and Charles Eames GOOD DESIGN remains the oldest and the world’s most recognized program for design excellence worldwide.

VOLA Round Series won 4 prizes at the Plus X Award
VOLA, fabricant danois de robinets et d’accessoires sanitaires design, s’est adjugé pas moins de quatre Plus X Awards au Salon de Düsseldorf (Allemagne). Sa gamme Round Series a notamment décroché le prix du "Best Product of the Year 2011" dans la catégorie sanitaire. Par ailleurs, cette même ligne a également été récompensée par l’octroi du label de qualité Plus X dans les trois catégories suivantes : Innovation, Design et Functionality.
Le ‘Plus X Award – Prize for innovative Technologies, Sport and Lifestyle Products’ est décerné aux fabricants prêtant une attention particulière à la plus-value qualitative de leurs produits. Pour son évaluation, le jury du Plus X Award juge selon les critères suivants : le produit doit être fabriqué au départ de matériaux de la meilleure qualité, sa longévité doit être pérenne, il doit être fonctionnel et son design arborer un caractère extrêmement novateur. Des labels de qualité sont également attribués dans sept catégories : Innovation, High Quality, Design, Ease of Use, Functionality, Ergonomics et Ecology.

Au lieu des sèches-serviettes classique, VOLA introduit son sèche-serviette encastré et modulable pour des solutions de design personnalisés. Suivant les valeurs de VOLA, le nouveau sèche-serviette est un élément encastré dans le mur ainsi les pièces techniques y sont cachées. C’est un concept flexible avec des barres, qui peuvent être combinées en nombres et position pour donner réponse aux demandes de design spécifique des différents carrelages. Ce design donne une liberté vaste et donne une valeur ajoutée à chaque style pour toutes salles de bains modernes.

Le nouveau système de douche en pose libre FS3 incarne le caractère de VOLA dans sa forme la plus pure; une conception précise, mince et sculptée. C’est un élément distingué par son forme contemporaine et géométrique qui inspirera certainement tous les disciples puristes de VOLA. Dans sa fonction, le FS3 imite la chute normale de la pluie mais à la différence de la nature, le jet, le débit et la température du rideau d’eau est facilement ajustable.
