Paddington House

The initial brief from the clients was to create a home that they and their family could live in for the next ten years or beyond. Time was spent with the clients discussing how particular spaces would be used. This rigorous approach defined the design process. A total refurbishment of the house was completed with a completely new second floor level added into a new roof structure roof. This new level created a master suite, including areas for sleeping, working, dressing, washing and contemplating.

The Architecture Workshop were appointed on a full design service, from initial concept design, planning, building control, contractor negotiation and on site management of the works. Simon Astridge worked harmoniously with clients, leather specialists, kitchen consultants, structural engineers, AV consultants, Party Wall surveyors, Building Control, Westminster Planning, joinery specialists and the main contractor to help create a beautiful family home.
