Crematorium Uitzicht

The crematorium ‘Uitzicht’ amalgamates with the landscape. It is designed in such a way the building fits the shapes of the scenery and is built half into the ground with respect to the nearby road. The structure is characterised by a modest atmosphere and its natural transitions between interior and exterior, between intimacy and open space, between the wooden formwork of the plain concrete on the outside and the sober but warm materials on the inside of the building.
